Stage 1 'MINI'

Stage 1 Tuning B46 and B46C 2.0L 4-cylinder engine

Stage 1 'MINI' is for those desiring a “factory plus” tune that retains all the original components, yet outputs a higher power in a very factory-like manner. The power delivery will be like it was developed at BMW, keeping all the refinements and drivability offered by factory, however with a modest bump in both torque and hp. A power increase of +25% is expected.

Specific Features:

- +25% increase to power

- “Factory Plus” tune retaining all stock hardware

- Works with 89-93 AKI octane fuel

- Sharpened driving dynamics, while keeping the car comfortable enough for daily driving

- Increased response with a sporty feel

This entry-level tune was developed on road BMWs and can be customized with:

- Burble (exhaust pops) duration and aggression

- Engine startup roar

A tune customization form will be sent after order has been placed.

*NOTE For X1 or X2 that have received firmware updates at the dealer after 03/2019, a bench unlock is required before tuning. We provide this service - you must choose the Send in your ECU option!*

2020.5-2022 Requires an ECU replacement with a Modded Mini-supplied unlocked ECU. The BDC module and a key must be sent in for ECU clone programming. You keep your original ECU.
